BEAUTIFUL BREATH

Studio test: Gas Hood with Alarm Gong Handbag 2024. Photographic collaboration with Debbie Sears.

Gas Hood performs a tragicomic extravaganza of artless gags. Equating modern life immersed in the mass media with the information analogue to gas warfare. Amid deadly agents that fill the mind with the contents of the lungs, with mind-altering effect, to influence our thoughts and spread violent ideologies.

Butterfly Bomber, Archival Giclée Print on Platinum Etching 2023.

Gas Hood has made themself look frightening, in a absurd attempt to protect themself. Wearing a reconstruction of a WWI gas hood made to protect against early chemical warfare. Raise the alarm and resist the permanent war against the good in nature.
